2012 UPCOMING EVENTS We must be doing something right! We are booked already for next years Snack with Santa event with the Akron Zoo. We had a LARGE turnout all 4 days for their event. We passed out stickers, candy canes and all the donated handouts I got from different organizations. Thank you to Hartland Trains and the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railroad for their donations. The people really enjoyed our display and many Thanked us for running our trains. To all NOGRS members who helped out, Thank You. The Fathers Day event is once again on Sunday which is Fathers Day. I informed the Zoo that I could not do the show again but if any other NOGRS member(s) want to do it I would let her know. We are scheduled for the Akron Children's Hospital Fun Run on Sunday June 3, 2012. Keep this date open so you can help out. AFTER CHRISTMAS PARTY The party is set for February 2012 this year. For more details see Rick. The food, room and bonding is always terrific. This is always a fun party with lots of prizes to be won. Thanks to the Korenz again.

To help you get the newsletter on time, send your updated information to Mary Ellen. We will not give out your information to anyone not in our club, so don’t worry about that. BADGES If you need a new name badge, the person to talk to is Sophie Wolfe. She is in charge of ordering the badges. If you are a new member two will be included in your first year’s dues. If you need another one there is a charge for it.
